Having recently expanded its studies to the pedagogy and teaching of art, Kiais collaborates now with a number of schools, public and private. He started a series of courses for children, teens and adults focusing on artistic expression as an expansion of individual qualities and as a means of socialization.
Involving the body and its relationship with the real space, and with the virtual dimension of the network, children, teens and adults come into contact with different forms, theories and practices of art. From painting to installation, to video and performance, they live the artistic phenomenon through the production of an object, or painting, but also becoming themselves an artistic event through the physical, conceptual and emotional action of everyone.
In frame of the second Venice International Performance Art Week, to which I took part as one of the co-curators, I had the pleasure to lead as a guest teacher, together with Johannes Deimling and Marie-Luise Lange, the #37 PAStudies: Critical Reflection.
